How I use my Tizz Tazz Bag

Hey Guys,

If you’ve been following me on social media recently, you would have seen that I’ve just opened my Etsy shop selling handmade Tizz Tazz bags!!

So in celebration of this, I thought I write a post sharing some of the ways that I use my Tizz Tazz bags.

As a cosmetics bag:

Tizz Tazz bags are a great size for keeping all your cosmetics together. I love to keep all the cosmetics that I carry around with me in a smaller cosmetic bag inside my handbag so that I can access them quickly and easily!

As a sewing bag:

This size bag is also amazing to keep all your sewing equipment in if you’re a fashion student (like myself!) or seamstress. I keep my threads, measuring tape, embroidery scissor and whatever else I may need at the sewing machine all safe in my Tizz Tazz bag so that I can carry them around with me easily in the studio.

As a pencil case:

Tizz Tazz bags are also great as pencil cases! Great to keep all your design materials together, ready for some creative sketchbook work.

There are loads of different uses for small zippered pouches like these, and you can really use them in any way you like! Let me know on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook other ideas for uses of Tizz Tazz bags!

Style Inspiration: Kendall & Kylie Jenner

Last time, I featured Gigi Hadid as one of my style inspirations. This week, I’m featuring sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner. These girls both have very different styles, but I love different aspects of each. I would say that my style is closer to Kendall’s, as she seems to go for a more minimal, classic style. But I also love the fashion risks that Kylie takes sometimes, and I particularly like her casual style.

Be sure to check out my Tumblr to see more of my favourite looks ✨

My Favourite Curly Hair Products 2016

Hey Guys,

Today I thought I’d share with you guys some of my favourite curly hair products. I have naturally curly hair, although I only started wearing my hair out curly when I was about 14, alternating between straightening my hair and leaving it curly. This meant my hair wasn’t really that healthy as I was regularly exposing it to heat from my blow dryer and hair straighteners. However, I never really got bad heat damage until October last year (2015) when after straightening my hair some of my curls wouldn’t spring back when I washed it! I was really upset at first, but then I chose to use the experience to encourage me to learn all about curly hair and keeping it healthy.

I’ve listed some of my favourite curly hair brands and products below. Hopefully this list will be useful to any of you that want to try new products on your curly hair.

Mixed Chicks Deep Conditioner & Leave-in Conditioner

Mixed Chicks were the first curly hair brand that I found when I started wearing my hair curly. I absolutely love their range and always find myself going back to using them. I use these products so much that I buy the 1-litre bottles every time I go to the Afro Hair & Beauty Show!

Mixed Chicks is available to buy in the UK from Boots & Afro Hair Shops like Beauty by Zara

Jamaican Black Castor Oil Treatment Masque & Leave-in Conditioner

I first found Shea Moisture through watching curly hair videos on YouTube. I love the morals and history behind the brand, but most importantly the products work amazingly! They have a huge range of products, but my favourite has to be the Jamaican Black Castor Oil range. It is just so moisturising and nourishing, and I love that all their products have great natural ingredients.

Shea Moisture is available to buy in the UK from Boots, Superdrug & Afro Hair Shops like Beauty by Zara.

Curls Blueberry Bliss Leave-in Conditioner & Control Paste

Another one of my favourite brands is Curls. I love this Blueberry Bliss range in particular as it smells amazing! I really feel like my curls ‘pop’ a lot more when I use the Curls leave-in conditioner, and the control paste is great more smoothing down your edges and sculpting individual curls.

Curls is available to buy in the UK from Afro Hair Shops like Beauty by Zara.

Thank you for reading & I hope you guys enjoyed this post! I’d love to find out what your favourite curly hair products are, so tweet me @tizz_tazz to let me know 🙂

Style Inspiration: Gigi Hadid

I don’t know if I agree with the idea of having only one set style. I like the idea of being able to change your look everyday depending on your mood. I definitely believe that style evolves and changes over time depending on what stage of life you’re in. For me, I’ve noticed that my style has 100% changed as I’ve gotten older, it’s so cringey to look at old photos of outfits I used to wear earlier on in my teens, as I’m sure it is for everyone!

As I’m getting older, and approaching my 20s (eeeep!) I’m starting to like the idea of building a more minimal and basic style that I can dress up or down depending on the occasion. If I was to describe my overall style, I’d say very clean and casual – you’ll almost always find me in a pair of trainers.

One thing that I really like to do when I’m looking for style inspiration, is to look to bloggers and celebrity street style on Tumblr and Pinterest to see if I can get ideas. One of my favourite people to look to for style inspiration is Gigi Hadid, her casual style is right up my street. So I thought I’d share some of my favourite Gigi Hadid looks that I have found.

Ankle Boots Edit AW15

This Autumn Winter I am really loving the ankle boots that I’ve been seeing across the High Street. They’re such a fashionable and versatile piece for your wardrobe that you can wear casually or formally. So, I though I would have a look and pick out some of my favourite ankle boots from a handful of High Street stores. I hope you like it!
